My Little Ladybug
The whole time I was pregnant after I found out we were having a girl I started calling her my little ladybug. After she passed and we had the funeral when Chris and I were left in the visitation room alone with her to say our good bye's I looked at her and told her that she was my little ladybug and I would love her and miss her everyday for the rest of my life and that when I saw a ladybug I would know she was thinking of us and that we were thinking of her. Well not 2 weeks later we were sitting on our patio (it was unusually warm for January) and we saw a little ladybug land on our table outside. Then a week later at my Mom's house I saw a ladybug on the ceiling in the kitchen (reminder: it was the middle of January and that day was super cold). These little signs reassure me that our Abbi is thinking of us and she knows how much we love and miss her.
A poem about Ladybugs
There was once a little ladybug who had a heart of pure gold-for those who would behold,
she radiated a kind of glow...
she'd do kind deeds like planting flower seeds where e'er she would reside-spreading beauty far and wide...
as if meant from Heaven to be sent,to spread love was her single intent...
one day a spider who lived in a Wood, and heard about the little bug's nature to do such good
weaved a pair of wings from the finest lace to match this ladybug's grace...
and for all to see as a signfor whom it was meant, that a life of compassion is most noble spent.

Some different meanings and stories about Ladybugs
LadyBug
Life, Rebirth, Abundance, and Hope.
Seen often as a messenger of promise, the ladybug reconnects us with the joy of living. Fear and joy can not co-exist. We need to release our fears and return to love - this is one of the messages that the ladybug brings to us.
Ladybug teaches us how to restore our trust and faith in the great spirit. When the ladybug appears, it is telling us to get out of our own way and allow the great spirit to enter into our lives.
Ladybug teaches life is short and it teaches to let go of ones' worries and fears, to trust in spirit and enjoy life. It brings the gifts of renewal and regeneration. The message of the Ladybug could be asking you to "Let go and let God".
One last thing-My angel baby snowglobe
I was browsing the internet for pictures of ladybugs and came across this. I thought how fitting- an angel baby in a snow globe with ladybugs flying around her. I miss my baby girl !!!!!!!
